Big Idea of Macbeth (Last Post of the Year)

I think that the main idea in Macbeth is guilt. In the book we see that the main characters often go through big guilt trips, especially Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, but first is the character Macduff. Although he starts his big lines later on in the book he has a feeling of guilt when he leaves his family to retrieve Malcom. When he returns he learns Macbeth sent murderers to his home and that his family is dead. He feels guilty for not being there to protect them.

Macbeth and Lady Macbeth go through the most extreme guilt events. After Macbeth sends murders to kill his best friend Banquo he gets a little crazy. He eventually starts to see him as a ghost in a party. It scared many of his other friends and gave them and idea he might have killed Duncan. Lady Macbeth also gets so guilty she goes crazy. She starts sleep walking and eventually goes so insane she ends up killing herself.

Macbeth Quotes

If chance will have me king, why, chance may
   crown me
Without my stir.

Macbeth says this to Banquo right after the witches tell hime his prophecy. That he will become thane of Cawdor and that he will become king. What this quote means is that if by fate he will become the king then it will happen without him having to do anything. This is important because

Foul is fair and fair is foul

This quote is important because its the theme for most of the book. Things are going opposite when King Duncan dies. Owls eating Hawks and in the day its nighttime. Macbeth is murdering at if someone wants to do right and accuse him of murder, its wrong to Macbeth and that person dies.

My easter holiday was a blast! I had been waiting all year for it, because of the Orlando band trip. There are two trips every 4 years, one to Orlando and one that is out of the country. The trip over easter was awesome. I was roommates with Kazuki Niwano, Aadil Moosa, and Jacob Dewitt. We had selected those groups months before the trip even started! 

Every day was packed with somethings. The first full day there the band went to the Magic Kingdom. It was so cool, we went strait to space mountain and got to ride on it twice in a row. Then we walked around and watched the parades. The next day we went to Epcot. After a few hours of doing some rides we went and played a concert, and there was actually a crowd. The next day we went to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Everest was a crazy ride, and Hollywood has some really cool performances. The last day we went to Universal studios that had some awesome rides.

Welcome Back to Blogging! For 4/14

If you are in a position of power, you are happy.

I neither disagree nor agree with this statement. A power position to me isn't something that I want very badly. So if there is someone who wants that position, I would be more than happy taking the follower position. In the play Macbeth I think that the way the witches are saying it to Macbeth and Banquo it sounds like it will all come easily, without much confrontation, and that once Macbeth achieves these statuses he will be happy. 

Ambition is a positive, desirable trait in a person.

I disagree with this because being ambitious isn't always good. For example, if someone was ambitious and they were doing something wrong then why would you want a person working hard at something bad. In Macbeth, Macbeth is ambitious at achieving what the witches said would happen. And he ends up killing many many people.

My Research Paper Draft 2/3

What I mostly feel confident about this draft is the format and the information. I feel this way because  I put a lot of time into this paper. Im a little nervous though, because when I'm not the best writer and I might think its good, but its actually really bad. 

The easiest part was putting the draft together. After I revised my detailed outline all I had to do was put my paper together. The most difficult part was finding reliable sources for my paper. You should focus your feedback on everything about my paper. I want as much feedback as i can get.

Sneaux Week Free Post 2/3

These past few weeks have been very nice. Each week has been a three or four day weeks. They have been very relaxing and have been super beneficial. Over this last week I have used a lot of time working on research and my paper. Im glad I have finished up the draft because it is very stress full.

When I wasn't working on school work for the days we got off I was playing in the "snow". It was really just ice but it was still very cool when it piled up and felt really cool in your hands. Every day I want to my neighbors house and we ran around and threw ice at each other, it was great.

Best part of the day Prompt By Paul Macmurdo

The best part of my day, during the school days, is lunch. It is my favorite because it is an hour long. In other grades lunch was way to short to enjoy it. I also like it because it is a prefect break from all of my classes. It gives me time to rest for the last to classes of the day.

I also think it is great because of tutorial. Tutorial is the perfect time to talk with friends and get homework done. I normally talk with my friends but if I need to get something done I will do my homework. It also the only time i get to listen to music so that is when I do it.

Research, Research, Research

My topic is the Nuremberg Trials it is important because it tried the top war criminals from World War two. It determined the outcome of the criminals. Some had death sentenced, some lifetime in jail, and some scott free. On my to-do-list is on top to revise my annotated bibliography. In the annotations i will re evaluate my sources and if they are not good enough then i will redo them.
